Detroit’s Chain Reaction  began officially as a band in 1987. Their first gig was Valentines Day of 1988 at Paycheck’s  in Hamtramck, just outside of downtown Detroit. They’ve seen a lot of venues , societal trends and fellow bands come and go. They’ve even survived a global pandemic, but the spirit and purpose of the band lives on!

Detroit’s Chain Reaction  has always been Bobby D (Drozdzewski), guitars and occasional vocals and Eric Harabadian, guitars and lead vocals. Long time members Larry Fritzley, bass guitar and Jeff Phillips, drums are back in the fold and recording some of the freshest and most vital material to date.

The latest release is a five-song EP called “STILL IN THE GAME” (VISION 561 PRODUCTIONS). The songs reflect a multi-dimensional world and musical view of rock, blues, jam and an all around eclectic style they’ve established over three plus decades of existence. “STILL IN THE GAME” also boasts cover and album package art designed by world renowned graphic artist Dennis Loren. Loren has designed work for Creem and Goldmine Magazines, Rhino Records and such musical luminaries as Frank Zappa, Brian Wilson and The White Stripes.

In addition to “STILL IN THE GAME” the band has other releases, including “ELECTRIC PLAYGROUND” (2004); “OUT OF THE DARK” (1998); “MUSICAL CHAIRS” (1995); “HIGH NOON (EP)” (1992); “OUT OF THE RUINS” ( 1991) and “SONIC MOTION” (1990).

Detroit’s Chain Reaction has performed at various venues throughout Michigan and Ohio and has made appearances on commercial radio, TV and independent podcasts as well.

The band is poised to hit the musical trail, by way of, live appearances and various media in a big way, as they bring a wealth of experience and initiative to the concert and club stage.
